Spring is Here - Happy Spring EquinoxWhile here in Colorado we have been getting hammered with snow storm after snow storm - including record breaking avalanches in the Central Mountains and a crazy “bombcyclone” that hit Denver last week, believe it or not, spring is officially here, and we have a sunny, beautiful day to prove it. Have you started your seeds yet? If not, today is the day!! A general rule of thumb is to start your tomato and pepper seeds by March 20th so they are mature enough and ready to be transplanted outdoors after the last freeze has passed (generally after Mother’s Day). If you can’t get seeds started today, get them going by the end of this month at the VERY latest! If you have a cold frame, remay cover, hoop house etc. for season extension in the fall, you have a bit more leeway. Have you ordered your seeds yet? If not, don’t delay and order them asap. Not sure what to order? We have a wide selection of collections to do the thinking/planning work for you. Our Seed Buckets are a great item and will provide you with a wide variety and selection to get your garden started without overthinking what to order.
